Ordination

Ordination is the highest classification of ministerial credential with Open Bible Churches. It is conferred in recognition of diligent leadership, tenure of ministerial effectiveness, integrity in all relationships, and an exemplary attitude as an Open Bible minister. Ordained ministers are eligible to serve at the highest levels of Open Bible leadership.

Competency Requirements Courses
    Qualifications:

    At least 5 years of:
  • Active, fruitful ministry, participation, and full cooperation.
  • Faithful relational, attitudinal, and leadership integrity with family, church, community, and Open Bible Churches.
Process:
No application. Ordination, upon recommendation of a region and approval by the Board of Credentials is conferred, in recognition of and affirmation of demonstrated qualifications. Credential renewal after conferral continues each year, as an ordained minister.

Ordination is renewed annually, subject to continued faithfulness to requirements.
